Overview

Sponkly offers live voice and text translation across chats, calls, meetings and YouTube videos. It supports 32 languages and delivers end‑to‑end encryption for private conversations.
On the phone or in the web app you type or speak in your own language. The message is encrypted, then sent to Sponkly's servers where it is translated. The recipient receives the text in their language, and the app shows live subtitles in both directions. Voice and video calls are encrypted between phones; when the translation feature is enabled, Sponkly translates what you say and speaks it aloud in a natural voice for the other party. In meetings up to eight participants can join from the app or a browser; each person hears the others in their own language, sees subtitles, and can use the shared chat, polls and transcript features. Chats keep photos, videos, voice notes and documents, all translated automatically; you can also send view‑once media that disappears after a single open.
Outside the mobile and desktop apps, a Chrome extension brings the same functionality to YouTube, webinars and online classes. The extension listens as the video plays, displays live subtitles in the chosen language, and offers an optional spoken summary. You install it on any web page; nothing is downloaded or stored locally. The SpeakBot add‑on lets businesses add a line of code to their website so visitors can chat, call or video‑call in their language, and the bot answers in yours, translating the conversation live. SpeakBot can handle multiple sites on a single plan, each with its own usage quota.
Sponkly's security options include a 60‑digit security code, Face ID or fingerprint lock, and two‑factor authentication. You can also back up chats with a passphrase that only you know. Video Studio lets creators turn a five‑minute clip into another language, adding subtitles and, where available, dubbing in the user's own voice.
