Overview

Wavel AI is an all-in-one platform for creating and localising video. It brings together several tools that are often sold separately: an AI video generator, AI dubbing with voice cloning, automatic subtitles, text to speech, short-clip creation and talking-avatar videos. The company positions it for education, marketing, social media and general content creation, and says it works in more than 100 languages.
Video generation
From a single prompt, Wavel can produce videos in several styles, including explainers, product ads, branded ads, UGC-style ads, short films, micro-dramas and VFX edits. You can generate horizontal or vertical video, choose single-scene clips of up to about 12 seconds or multi-scene videos with a more consistent story, and pick from several underlying generation models. The interface lists Wavel's own multimodal model alongside third-party options such as Kling, Google Veo and OpenAI Sora, each with different strengths and credit costs. Presenter avatars can be added for talking-head-style content.
Dubbing, subtitles and enhancement
For existing footage, Wavel can translate and dub a video into other languages. Voice cloning keeps the speaker's voice in the new language. It can also generate subtitles, clean up audio, add captions, B-roll, transitions and music, and cut long videos into shorts. These features make it practical for creators and companies who want to reuse one video across markets and platforms.
Pricing
There is a free trial. Paid plans are credit-based and billed monthly or annually, with annual plans offering a discount and more credits. The Basic plan includes a monthly credit allowance that can be spent on AI videos, dubbing minutes, subtitle minutes or text-to-speech, plus voice clones, a brand kit and AI twins. Check the pricing page for current figures.
Who it is for
Wavel suits course creators, marketers localising campaigns, agencies making many ad variants, and YouTubers expanding into other languages.
Things to consider
Credits are shared across features, and premium generation models use more credits per video, so estimate your monthly usage before choosing a plan. AI dubbing and lip-sync quality varies between languages, so test your key languages first. Have a native speaker review important translated content. If you clone a voice or create an AI twin, make sure you have the person's consent, and check the platform's terms on commercial use and data retention.
