Contember Fabrika is a platform for companies that want to build their own internal applications with AI without giving up control over security. It combines a hosting and runtime environment with a team from Contember that reviews every change before it goes live. The idea is that someone inside your company can create screens and business logic with AI assistance, while the platform, not the app's code, takes care of sign-in, permissions and deployment.

How it works

Fabrika is built around five principles described on its site:

• One way in: apps have no public address of their own, and everyone enters through the platform's sign-in.
• AI builds inside: your builder uses AI to create screens and logic from the brief and the code, not from live production data.
• Keys held apart: passwords and API keys are stored by the cloud platform, and each app only sees its own.
• A record: sign-ins, access changes and every deployment are logged, and a console shows who did what and when.
• Reviewed changes: the Contember team checks each change before deployment, and changes that do not pass are not released.

Ways to start

There are three entry points. Contember can build the first app together with you, it can take over an app you already have, or your own developers can build on the platform. The company suggests starting with a 30-minute call and inviting your IT team.
