Overview

Raindrop is a monitoring and debugging platform for teams that ship AI agents. It aims to detect agent issues in production and prevent them from recurring by tracing every run, grouping recurring failures, helping investigate root causes and simulating changes before they are merged. The company announced a $50 million Series A.
Trace and detect
Tracing follows every message, tool call and decision in an agent run, so you can see exactly where it went wrong. Issue detection finds patterns across many runs and brings recurring failures, including silent ones that never raise an error, into a single issue. The site's example shows a coding agent repeatedly failing a Webpack build because it keeps using an outdated configuration key.
Investigate
A Triage Agent helps investigate problems in Slack, on the web and through MCP. It searches events, reads related traces and explains the root cause, citing the original traces as evidence. Workshop lets developers inspect, replay and debug agents locally.
Simulate and verify
Simulations, in early access, test an agent in an environment that is safe to break. Results appear on your pull request, so regressions are caught before merging. The site shows a simulation catching a retry change that would have issued a refund twice. Signals and experiments then compare a change against real traffic to show which behaviours improve.
Customers
Raindrop says it is built with teams shipping agents to millions of users. A case study from Tolan reports a 27.8% reduction in memory issues after testing changes to retrieval and storage, and Speak, Howie and GC.AI are also listed.
Pricing
You can start free with no credit card required, and you can book a demo. Enterprise options and a pricing page are available.
Who it suits
It suits engineering teams running LLM agents in production, such as coding, support or companion agents, who need more than logs to understand failures.
Things to consider
Agent traces can contain user conversations and personal data, so review what is sent to Raindrop and check its security and retention options. Simulations are only as good as their scenarios, so keep adding cases from real incidents. Start with one agent to set up signals before rolling out widely.
