Overview

Ssemble is an AI clip maker that reassembles long videos into short vertical clips. You paste a link, and its AI finds the moments it predicts will perform best, adds captions, face tracking and hooks, then lets you schedule and post the clips to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. It says it has 2.4 million users and a 4.6 out of 5 rating on Google.
How it works
There are three steps. First, you paste a YouTube URL; long-form videos, podcasts and gaming streams all work. Second, the AI creates clips with captions, face tracking and hooks automatically. Third, you schedule and auto-post them to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels in one click.
Video sources
Besides any public YouTube video, Ssemble accepts links from Vimeo, Kick and Twitch, or you can upload your own file.
Results shown
The homepage shows recent clips posted by users with view counts, and says users posted 404,136 clips last month that drew 448 million views, with 25 clips passing a million views. These are aggregate figures from the company; most individual clips will get far fewer views.
Pricing
Ssemble uses video credits, with plans from $6 a month. Billed yearly, Pro is $6 a month ($72 a year) for 360 video credits a year, AI clipping, API access, scheduling and one social account. Expert is $12 a month ($144 a year) for 840 credits and three social accounts. Business is $24 a month ($288 a year) for 1,800 credits and unlimited social account connections. Custom plans are available, monthly billing costs more, and you can cancel at any time.
Who it suits
It suits creators, podcasters and streamers who want to repurpose long videos into shorts, as well as clippers who post short content from other channels.
Things to consider
Clipping videos you don't own can infringe copyright and break platform rules; many creators allow clipping only through official programmes, so get permission first. Auto-generated captions and hooks can misrepresent what was said, so review clips before posting. Platforms may limit reach for reposted or low-originality content.
Because clipping, captioning and posting all happen in one place, the workflow avoids exporting files and uploading them to each app separately. Yearly billing is shown with a discount of up to 60% compared with monthly prices.
