Overview

Ovren Live Preview lets you ship small coding tasks without waiting on a developer. After you describe a change in plain language, the tool writes code, opens a pull request, and shows a live preview of the frontend modification before it goes live. You or your team can review the pull request and approve it, marking the task as shipped that same day.
The workflow begins by connecting Ovren to your existing repository through a GitHub App installation. Your developer only needs to grant permission; there is no setup of documentation or restructuring of the codebase. Once connected, you type a request in natural language, for example, “Add a banner on the pricing page”, and Ovren processes the request in seconds. It creates a safe copy of the repository, writes the necessary code, and generates a pull request that includes an execution report. The report lists the changed files and any identified risks, so you can review exactly what the tool has altered. Visual confirmation is provided via a live preview of the frontend change, allowing you to see how the update will look before approval. After approval, the pull request is merged automatically, and the change is live.
Ovren targets anyone on a product team who wants to get small features, fixes, or experiments onto the site quickly. It is especially useful for marketing teams needing analytics dashboards or promotional banners, operations teams building admin UIs for banners and promo codes, or product teams prototyping new flows. The tool works with the stack you already use, such as Node.js, GitHub, Vercel, Netlify, Stripe, Google Tag Manager, and SendGrid, and supports any language you describe the task in. The focus is on shipping work that would otherwise stay in backlog because of developer availability.
