Overview

Lensa is a mobile photo editing app from Prisma Labs, built for people who post a lot on social media. Its pitch is simple: make everyday photos look like posts from creators you follow, in one tap and without editing skills. Lensa says the app has more than 70 million downloads, and it is available on the App Store and Google Play.
The main features
Trend effects. One-tap looks named after popular styles, such as Golden Hour, Halo Flash, Disposable and G7X.
Beauty toolkit. Retouching options including Hollywood, Hair Boost and Makeup.
Eraser. Brush over something you don't want, such as a photobomber, crowds, signs, power lines or even large objects, and the AI rebuilds the background behind it.
Enhancer. Upscales tightly cropped or low-resolution photos and fixes dark or badly lit shots, bringing back detail and colour.
Hair try-on. Upload one selfie and see yourself with a different cut, like layered waves, a blunt bob or a pixie cut, before you book the hairdresser.
Presets. Colour, light and mood grades in a single tap, so every photo in your feed looks consistent. Options include Bright, Pastel and Golden.
Pricing
Lensa's website sends you to the app to get started and doesn't publish a pricing page, so subscription prices are shown in the App Store or Google Play listing and inside the app. We haven't quoted figures. The site links to Lensa's terms and refund policy. Checked October 2026 at lensa.app.
Who it suits
Instagram and TikTok users who want polished, trend-driven selfies and lifestyle shots quickly, and people who'd like to test a haircut before committing. It's a consumer app, not a tool for product photos or professional retouching.
Pros: very fast one-tap effects; useful eraser and enhancer; hair try-on is a fun extra.
Cons: no public pricing on the website; aimed at mobile, not desktop work; beauty filters may not suit everyone.
Alternatives
Picsart has a wider set of trend templates and video tools. For restoring or upscaling photos, see Let's Enhance, and for quick object removal on the web, Cleanup.pictures.
