Overview

Competely is an AI tool for competitive analysis. You tell it about your product, choose competitors, and it produces an analysis of their pricing, features, messaging and marketing across more than 100 data points. It then monitors those competitors and sends regular email briefs about important changes. The site says 3,479 startups and agencies use it.
How it works
Setup has three steps. Enter your product URL or a short description. Choose competitors from those the AI suggests, or add your own. Then get the full analysis and ongoing monitoring. You can try a free analysis of your market without a credit card, and sample analyses are available on the site.
Competitive briefs
The monitoring sends short briefs that take about two minutes to read, covering key moves, risks and opportunities. The idea is to replace manual checks of competitor websites and to only show changes that matter strategically, such as pricing changes, new features and shifts in positioning. You can add teammates, executives or clients as recipients.
Analysis areas
The analysis covers marketing, product, pricing, audience, sentiment and strengths and weaknesses, giving a structured view of each competitor side by side with your product.
Pricing
The Starter plan costs 39 dollars per month on monthly billing. It includes three active projects, five new projects per year, up to 10 competitors per project, and competitive briefs every two weeks sent to up to 10 people. Higher plans add more projects and more frequent briefs. Annual billing saves 25 percent.
Who it is for
It suits founders and product managers who need to understand their market quickly, marketers preparing positioning or launch plans, and agencies that produce competitor reports for clients.
Things to consider
The analysis is based on public information, such as websites, reviews and pricing pages, so it cannot see private deals, roadmaps or internal numbers. AI summaries can misread or oversimplify, so check important findings on the competitor's own site before acting on them. Pricing pages change often, and some companies hide prices behind sales calls. Use the analysis as a starting point for your own judgement, and combine it with conversations with customers, which reveal why people choose one product over another.
