Overview

Vedic Astrology Chart is a website that calculates birth charts in the Vedic, or Jyotish, tradition and adds AI-written interpretations. You enter your place, date and time of birth, and it generates a sidereal chart showing planetary positions, houses, nakshatras, divisional charts including the D9 or Navamsa, and Dasha timelines.
Free and paid access
The basic chart is free and does not require signing in. AI summaries require an account, and each account can generate one free summary for one chart and revisit it later. Full AI reports require signing in and a one-time purchase of the relevant report, which includes a PDF download. The free chart does not include a PDF. The pricing page lists one-time Premium, Detailed and Master reports.
Calculation method
The site is open about its method. It uses Swiss Ephemeris to calculate sidereal positions, with the Lahiri ayanamsa by default and Raman and Krishnamurti options in advanced settings. The natal chart uses whole sign houses. Rahu uses the mean lunar node, with Ketu placed opposite. Your local birth time is converted to UTC using the birthplace time zone, with historical time zones and daylight saving taken into account. If you do not know your birth time, there is an option for that, though some results will be less specific.
Privacy
The site describes itself as privacy focused, and the name field is optional.
Who it is for
It suits people interested in Vedic astrology who want an accurate chart without installing software, and practitioners who want a quick reference chart with a clear explanation of the settings used.
Things to consider
Astrology is a cultural and spiritual practice, not a science, and its readings have not been shown to predict events or personality. Treat AI interpretations as reflection or entertainment, and do not use them for medical, financial, legal or relationship decisions. Birth time accuracy matters a lot for houses and dashas, so check your birth record. AI-written readings can be generic, so compare them with traditional sources or a practitioner if you take the subject seriously. Check report prices before buying.
The free chart alone is useful for learning how a Vedic chart is laid out.
