Overview

Sharpniq Unblur Image is an online tool for removing blur from images. Its main feature is private processing: the free mode runs in your browser on your own device, so the image is not uploaded. An optional Cloud Unblur mode uses private server-side processing for larger files.
Two processing modes
Browser Free works on the device and supports images up to 4 megapixels. Cloud Unblur supports images up to 12 megapixels. Both accept files up to 10MB in many formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, static GIF, HEIC and HEIF, TIFF, BMP and SVG. You can choose a file, or take a photo on a phone.
Types of blur
The site offers interactive samples for different kinds of blur, including soft focus, everyday photos and motion blur. A before and after slider lets you compare results. Trying the samples first gives you an idea of what the tool can and cannot fix.
Pricing
Pricing is usage-based. Browser Free costs nothing and uses no credits. Each successful Cloud Unblur result uses 10 product credits, and the cost is shown before processing. Credits are one-time purchases with no subscription, and there are no unlimited plans. New accounts get 10 free credits, enough for one cloud result. No sign-in is needed for the browser mode.
Who it suits
Sharpniq suits anyone who wants to rescue a slightly blurry photo without uploading it to a server, such as personal or family photos, and people who need occasional sharper images for documents or listings.
Things to consider
Deblurring cannot recover detail that was never captured. Strong motion blur or heavy softness may improve only a little, and AI sharpening can create artefacts or invent detail, so check faces and text closely. Do not rely on sharpened images where accuracy matters, such as evidence or identification. Keep the original file. Start with the free browser mode, and use cloud credits only for images where the extra resolution is worth it.
For quick fixes to everyday snapshots, the browser mode is a convenient, privacy-friendly option that costs nothing. It also works on phones, which is handy when the blurry photo is already in your camera roll. Results vary by image, so try a couple of files.
