Overview

InteriorDecorator.ai is an AI design tool that reimagines interiors and exteriors from a photo. You upload a picture of a room or a house front, choose a design style and a room type, and it generates a redesigned version in seconds. You don't need an account to start, and the free tier lets you try it immediately. The site says users have generated more than 71,000 interior and exterior design ideas.
What you can do
The main feature is room redesign, which shows a space in a completely different style. Virtual staging fills empty rooms with furniture and decor, which is useful for real estate listings. Sketch to render turns hand-drawn sketches and floor plans into photorealistic visualisations. Exterior makeover covers house fronts, patios, gardens and other outdoor spaces. There are 26 design styles, including modern, Scandinavian, minimalist, industrial, bohemian and Japanese, and 28 room types, from living rooms and kitchens to home offices and hotel lobbies.
How it works
There are three steps. First, drop in a photo or take one with your phone. Then select a style and a room type. The AI then generates the new design. Recent public designs appear in a gallery on the homepage, which gives a sense of typical results across styles and room types. Pro users can request up to nine renders per image to compare variations.
Pricing
The free plan allows three designs a day with all 26 styles and 28 room types, one render per image, and designs that may be shown publicly. Pro costs $12 a month, or $108 a year (equivalent to $9 a month). It removes conversion limits and adds up to nine renders per image, priority processing, private designs, team seats and API access, as well as faster, higher-quality images. Teams of three or more get 15% off each extra seat, and separate developer pricing is available.
Things to consider
AI redesigns are concept images. They may not reflect exact dimensions, structural limits or the availability of real furniture, so treat them as inspiration rather than plans. Real estate agents using virtual staging should check local rules on disclosing digitally staged photos in listings.
