Gamma
Gamma drafts presentations, docs and simple websites from a prompt or pasted text, with an AI agent for edits and export to PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Overview

Gamma builds presentations from a prompt, an outline or a document you paste in. The same editor also makes docs, one-page websites, social posts and images, so it's more a general "make this presentable" tool than a PowerPoint clone. You can import PDF and PPTX files, and export to PDF, PPTX, PNG or Google Slides when someone insists on a traditional deck.
Most of the work happens through an AI agent in the editor. Ask it to rewrite a section, add slides, try different layouts or generate images, and each of those actions spends credits. How many depends on the length of the job and which model you pick; Gamma shows the credit cost for image models before you generate.
Plans
Free has no time limit and needs no card. New accounts get 400 credits that don't refresh, though you can earn 200 more per referral. You're limited to 10 slides per prompt and basic image models.
Plus is $9 per seat a month billed annually ($108 a year). It adds 1,000 credits a month, up to 100 slides per prompt, advanced image models, and removes the "Made with Gamma" badge from shared and exported work.
Pro is $18 per seat a month billed annually ($216 a year). Credits go up to 4,000, and you get premium image models, custom branding, detailed viewer analytics, password protection, API access and up to 10 custom domains for published sites.
Ultra is listed at $90 per seat a month billed annually ($1,080 a year) for 20,000 credits, the most advanced text, image and video models, early features and up to 100 custom domains.
There's also a Business plan for teams. Monthly billing costs more than these annual rates; Gamma's help centre puts the annual saving at 28%. Unused plan credits roll over up to twice your monthly allowance, and paid users can buy extra credits.
Checked October 2026 on Gamma's official pricing page and help centre. Prices are per user, before tax. See gamma.app/pricing for monthly rates.
Who gets the most from it
Consultants, founders, teachers and marketers who need a clean deck quickly and care more about clarity than pixel-perfect brand templates.
Pros and cons
- + Turns rough notes or a pasted document into a complete first draft
- + Exports to PowerPoint and Google Slides, so you're not locked in
- + Free tier is enough to try it properly
- − Free credits don't refresh, so the free plan is really a trial
- − Every AI edit spends credits, so heavy reworking can drain a Plus allowance
Alternatives
Beautiful.ai and Pitch are the main presentation-first rivals. Decktopus is another prompt-to-deck option, and Canva works well if you also need social graphics and print.
